ODOE encourages the public to comment about Idaho Power’s proposed project. The energy facility siting process has several public participation opportunities beginning with Idaho Power’s 2010 Notice of Intent to Submit an Application for Site Certificate.
ODOE will co-host public meetings about the project with the BLM and USFS in August 2010. Visit the calendar for meeting dates and times.
When submitting a comment to ODOE-EFSC, please make it as specific as possible and relate to EFSC’s siting standards.
If you have questions or would like more information on Oregon’s energy facility siting process, contact Sue Oliver, Energy Facility Analyst.
Fall 2008 Public Information Meetings and Comment Period
ODOE reviewed the comments received during the public information period to better understand the public’s concerns about the project, which were summarized in the Project Order. However because Idaho Power has submitted a new NOI along with a new proposed route the comments may no longer be valid. For this reason, ODOE is requesting the public submit new comments on Idaho Power’s proposal.
